During Start-Up Weekend two Lokionites, Meka Egwuekwe and Rena Armour, participated in the creation of a 54-hour long business venture called spynnr.com.
The original idea was proposed by Michael Synk for Ultimate Frisbee players but morphed into a software add-on for Facebook.com so that ultimate frisbee players could search for and find local games at their skill level. Participants gathered at Emerge Memphis just down the street from Lokion where they ate pizza, drank Red Bull, and brainstormed the start-up. Find the live site at www.spynnr.com.
The Commercial Appeal reported on the event.
