RSA Archer Summit 2012

| July 10, 2012

Several members of the Lokion team recently attended the RSA Archer Summit in Chicago. It was three days jam-packed with information and tips for managing Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) programs using the RSA Archer platform. The event was attended by 600 eGRC professionals in industries such as financial services, healthcare, retail, and logistics.

A key theme throughout the Summit was the Archer platform’s ability to empower organizations to stop reacting to risk and start predicting, minimizing, and preventing incidents. In order to gain this visibility, organizations need to access millions of records in a wide variety of formats across numerous locations. To meet this growing challenge, companies are using Archer-to-Archer data feeds, the Web Services API, and the data feed manager to extract the necessary information. Archer has the capability to distill and report key elements, giving management the metrics it needs to make informed business decisions.

During the Summit, attendees learned that RSA Archer is exploring, expanding and enhancing the current reporting capabilities to potentially include powerful tools such as 3D data visualization, dynamic chart filtering, and heat maps.

Our very own Meka Egwuekwe joined Susan Ingenluyff, vice president, consultant–systems engineering at Bank of America, to present a session at the conference entitled “Data Feeds: Beyond the Basics.” The presentation explained how to get the most out of data feeds using the web services API, performance enhancement recommendations, and other advanced tips for taking data feeds beyond the obvious.

Additionally, Lokion would like to congratulate Bank of America for receiving the RSA Archer Summit 2012 Innovation Award! We are proud to be one of your partners.

It was an exciting Summit and we look forward to the 2013 RSA Archer Summit in Washington, DC.
