Lokion is seeking an experienced account executive to join our sales team. Applicants must have experience selling technical / interactive services to B2C and B2B companies. Applicants should have agency experience. Applicants without either will not be considered.

Lokion has a relaxed but professional office atmos­phere and is located in the heart of down­town, on the 9th floor of an Art Deco build­ing over­look­ing the Mis­sis­sippi River.

The Account Exec­u­tive is respon­si­ble for cre­at­ing, main­tain­ing and grow­ing client rela­tion­ships, rev­enue and prof­itabil­ity with cre­ativ­ity, class, and strate­gic think­ing. Requires a pro­fes­sional, charis­matic and intelligent per­son with an abil­ity to grasp busi­ness mod­els, mar­ket­ing ini­tia­tives, and tech­nol­ogy quickly and with poise.

Must be con­ver­sant in a wide vari­ety of online are­nas: social media, user expe­ri­ence, emerg­ing tech­nolo­gies, plat­forms, and devel­op­ment processes and must keep cur­rent on same. Can pre­pare and deliver a com­pelling and per­sua­sive pre­sen­ta­tion or pro­posal to a client with accu­rate time­lines and cost esti­mates. Can develop solid, use­ful online mar­ket­ing ini­tia­tives that get results. A sense of humor is a most use­ful skill.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts, including identifying new opportunities inside these accounts.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts and turn them into solid projects.
  • Prospect new account opportunities, focusing on the Southeast.
  • Follow up on leads generated by marketing efforts.
  • Maintain contacts and record sales activities in company database.
  • Create project overview briefs and prep internal team prior to all new business meetings.
  • Work with Project Management, Strategy and Development to formulate an approach and define scope for projects.
  • Prepare proposals and RFP responses for clients and prospects. Coordinate response efforts with Project Management, Strategy, Development, and Finance. 
  • Draft project contracts and coordinate internal and client approvals.
  • Support monthly client billing and reporting.
  • Identify project opportunities and risks. Work with team to develop contingency plans as necessary.
  • Regularly assess client satisfaction and serve as client escalation contact. Work with team to promptly address client needs, both proactively and reactively.
  • Contribute feedback and input into Lokion marketing and communication materials.
  • Attend relevant industry and networking events, tradeshows and user conferences. 

Requirements

  • BS or BA.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant technology sales experience required.
  • Interactive experience required and agency experience preferred.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate internal and client meetings, presentations, etc.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, comprehensive communications.
  • Some travel required.

Compensation

  • Position includes base salary plus commission, bonus potential
