In this posi­tion you will be work­ing with an expe­ri­enced team to develop and extend appli­ca­tions for Android and Apple mobile devices, and related sup­port­ing software.

At times you may also participate in other development efforts includ­ing web and cus­tom desk­top appli­ca­tion development.

Some travel may be required, but we try to keep it under 25%. Devel­op­ment occurs in our office on the Mis­sis­sippi River in the heart of Down­town Mem­phis. Numer­ous restau­rants, bars, and inter­est­ing places to visit are within easy walk­ing dis­tance from our office.

Lokion works with a num­ber of dif­fer­ent tech­nolo­gies, and oppor­tu­ni­ties may arise for you to work with other lan­guages and plat­forms, if this is some­thing that inter­ests you.

  • Develop, design, and maintain mobile applications
  • Configure and maintain systems related to applications under development
  • Test and debug code
  • Work with the development team, project manager, and account executives to achieve project goals
  • Adhere to agreed upon delivery schedules coordinated with project managers
  • Keep up to date on emerging technologies relevant to Lokion’s business


  • At least two years of production-level experience in mobile application development, either in iOS, Android, or both
  • Expert knowledge of C# and Visual Studio, or the native development languages for iOS or Android
  • Experience with Xamarin is a plus
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working in small collaborative teams, especially in a consulting agency or professional services environment, a plus.
  • Familiarity with web / software development life cycles / methodology, particularly Agile, and ability to communicate constructively with designers and developers.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and resolve problems proactively.
  • Positive attitude. Adaptability to change. Creativity and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • BS or higher in Computer Science or a related degree
