Quality Assurance Manager

The main focus of the Quality Assurance Manager at Lokion will be to efficiently understand, document and track our clients’ testable business, functional and user experience requirements, as well as to coordinate processes affecting quality of work to ensure client expectations are consistently met.

Responsibilities

  • Track requirements through all stages of our projects to ensure quality delivery.
  • Elicit, document, review, edit, and otherwise communicate testable requirements to clients and teammates.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to establish and monitor required level of quality and success metrics, then ensure project requirements are clearly understood and verified during testing.
  • Document, communicate, champion and manage practical workflow of testing methodology by which testable requirements are tracked and verified through all stages of our projects.
  • Working closely with Project Managers, assist in coordinating cross-project release cycles and quality assurance resource scheduling.
  • Lead per-release QA planning, test-case creation, execution and delegation of testing.
  • Implement ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams.

Requirements

  • Experience with quality assurance testing and defect tracking systems required.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, comprehensive business and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to be familiar with a wide variety of technologies, coding languages, platforms, and development processes and must keep current on same.
  • Experience with browser and build automation software.
  • BS or BA preferred.

A Memphis-based interactive company seeks a full-time Account Executive.  Lokion creates digital and brand experiences that help clients generate awareness, loyalty, and growth. From crafting comprehensive interactive marketing campaigns to building custom applications, Lokion specializes in serving clients with a potent mix of technology, strategy, and creativity. Our clients include FedEx, Viking Range, AutoZone, ServiceMaster, Smith & Nephew, and more.  We have a relaxed but invigorating office atmosphere and are located in the heart of downtown, on the 10th floor of an Art Deco building overlooking the Mississippi river. The Account Executive is responsible for creating, maintaining and growing client relationships, revenue and profitability with creativity, class and strategic thinking. Requires a professional, charismatic and hyper-intelligent person with an amazing ability to grasp business models, marketing initiatives and technology quickly and with poise.  Must be conversant in a wide variety of  online arenas:  social media, user experience, emerging technologies, platforms, and development processes and must keep current on same.  Can prepare and deliver a compelling and persuasive presentation or proposal to a client with accurate timelines and cost estimates.  Can develop solid, useful online marketing initiatives that get results.  Sense of humor a most useful skill.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and growing identified client accounts as assigned, identifying new opportunities inside these accounts.  Also responsible for client satisfaction and delight with our services.
  • RFP response and proposal development – research, budget and pricing estimates, timelines, benchmarking.
  • Identify revenue opportunities with existing clients and communicate them to management and resource personnel.  Follow-up on these opportunities and turn them into solid projects.
  • Close and assist in closing business deals, reviewing contracts, etc.
  • Establish and enforce effective communication plans within team and with client, communicating with clients on a regular basis.
  • Work with team to create and present project schedules, milestones and pricing for clients.
  • Formulating and defining scope and objective for assigned projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring team is properly and promptly addressing client needs, both proactively and reactively.
  • Work with project management to enforce change management procedures, scope management internally and with client in a nice manner.
  • Identify opportunities, risks and contingency plans for client projects.
  • Support team efforts with research as needed.
  • Contributing feedback and input into Lokion marketing and communication materials.
  • Responsible for overseeing proper client billing.

Requirements

BS or BA.  A minimum of 2 – 5 years of marketing or sales experience required.  Interactive experience required and agency experience preferred. Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  Experience with Microsoft Project a plus.  Strong understanding of project methodology needed.  Ability to lead and facilitate internal and client meetings, reviews, etc. Multi-task, deadline oriented. Ability to write clear, concise, comprehensive communications a must.  Some travel.

Inter­ac­tive Expe­ri­ence Designer / Usabil­ity Consultant

As an Interactive Experience Designer / Usability Consultant at Lokion, you will contribute to user-centered design processes to improve the usability, usefulness, and desirability of the digital experiences we create. As an experienced usability practitioner, you can handle a range of project types – often simultaneously – working both collaboratively and independently to integrate user-centered co-design, appropriate technology, and solid business strategy. You can keep big-picture strategy in mind while working through complex details. You enjoy new challenges, taking initiative, and innovating. You have an amazing capability to devise creative solutions to get things done when roadblocks occur.

Responsibilities

  • Work in close collaboration with clients and internal teams to guide interaction strategy including products, brand, marketing, features, interface, content, and overall user experience.
  • Manage, facilitate, analyze, and otherwise contribute to quantitative and qualitative audience research efforts including behavioral analytics, personas, surveys, interviews, stakeholder focus groups, and usability testing… or whatever else it takes to understand what will delight the users for whom we design.
  • Model user experience interactions, information architecture and user interface for web sites, applications and other digital content on multiple devices and platforms through internal and external deliverables such as research reports, benchmarking reports, requirements documentation, site maps, user stories, process flow diagrams, use cases, interface concept sketches, wireframes, content inventories, usability test plans, recruitment scripts, audience and stakeholder interview scripts, usability session scripts, or whatever it takes to get the point across.
  • Participate in client workshops, meetings, and presentations related to interaction design, strategy, usability or information architecture.
  • Develop relationships with client personnel that foster trusted ties, while continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Collaborate with visual designers, technical developers, and project managers to generate superb interactive experience designs and happy clients.
  • Contribute to Lokion’s positive internal culture and teamwork atmosphere, and uphold the commitment to authenticity and quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years dedicated experience in digital user experience and interaction design.
  • Experience conducting audience and usability research including benchmarking, heuristic reviews, surveys, analytics, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, contextual inquiry, and usability testing.
  • Superb writing and presentation skills.
  • An outstanding portfolio of detailed diagrams, schematics, specifications, interaction flows, site maps, navigation systems, wireframes, analysis, etc.
  • Experience with Axure, iRise, or other interactive rapid prototyping tools, particularly in an Agile environment, is a plus.
  • Ability to elicit business strategy, functional requirements and prioritization from clients, and to balance these with user needs and technological constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage clients, communicate persuasively, and resolve issues.
  • Experience working in small collaborative teams, especially in a consulting agency environment.
  • Familiarity with technical issues around web development and ability to work constructively with designers and developers.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and solve problems proactively.
  • Great attitude and ability to handle change. Creativity and attention to detail.
